Thoroughly rinse 250 Gms (8 oz) of Shahjahan Parboiled Basmati Rice and soak it for 75-120 min, in lukewarm water. Add the soaked rice to 2.5 to 3 cups of boiling water. Add 1 tbs, butter or oil or margarine and salt to taste. Cook on medium heat until the rice absorbs the water. Cover with tight lid and remove the pan from the fire. Stand for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot with curries or sauces.
1.Place 250 GMS. (8 oz) of soaked rice into a deep microwave container, add ¾ pint (350 ml.) of water, and salt (if desired).
2.Cover container loosely with microwave cling film and cook on medium/60% for 10 Min.
3.Allow to stand for 5 Min.
